The definition of boss in the Nigerian version of broken English is 'oga.'

Oga, even though it is a Yoruba word, it is adopted by all Nigerians to mean boss.

Oga has a lot of control in the workplace or society.

I have been on earth for a few decades and have yet to see any human who doesn't want to control something or someone.

If this is true of most humans, how come only a few people can control SOMETHING or SOMEONE?

Those that control are the top 3% of any society.

We admire them, we like them.

We desire to be like them.

But we failed at one thing...

We have failed to realize what they have in common.

Before the top 3% become the boss of a company, country, or state, they did this one thing.

They are the boss of their own life.

Read the line again.

If you cannot master the act of bossing yourself, you will never be able to boss over anything or anyone in life.

Take charge of your time, and stop postponing what can be done today.

Take charge of your finances, set boundaries, and invest in yourself more than you buy liabilities.

You have paid for some courses, but you have yet to complete the learning process. Na war o.

That is not a boss thing, do something about it this weekend.

The people you look up to become bosses the moment they start bossing themselves and having full control of their lives.

If you cannot lead yourself right, you can not lead anyone successfully.

This is another weekend, use it like a boss.
