Have you ever heard a statement like this before?

The crypto market is all about trends, and whoever is able to spot the trend earlier is going to be the winner.

Okay, I like to tell stories about events so they can sink in.

Some years ago, between 2017 and late 2019.

MANA team started a project that seeks to eradicate poverty, they pioneered decentralized universal basic income also known as UBI.

The goal is to give $1 to poor users every day.

They kept grinding, building, and marketing the idea.

Unfortunately, this kind of project doesn’t succeed.

Never.

I don’t know why too, but if you know why decentralized UBI projects don’t succeed, let me know, I would like to learn from you.

That’s by the way…

After 3 years, they realized that working on the project is like beating a dead horse to gallop.

Looks like an impossible mission for private organizations, they abandoned the idea and quickly rebrand their business.

What did they do?

They launched one of the earliest NFT and metaverse projects before it became popular in 2021, thanks to Facebook:)

They researched like crazy and quickly pivoted to the metaverse.

Guess what?

The price of MANA tokens jumped from $0.03 to over $5 within a few months.

it means that a $500 investment in MANA at $0.03 per token would be worth $52,000 at the all-time high price in 2021

This is the power of trends.

The new trend could be decentralized futures trading platforms.

When there is another collapse of another big centralized exchange, the alternative ones will experience a massive increase in value.
